Chet Erwin serves as Chief Executive Officer of CherCo. He founded CherCo in 2021 and has led the company as President and CEO since its inception. With more than 40 years of experience in the compression industry, Chet brings a proven track record of operational leadership, strategic growth, and value creation. He began his career with Energy Industries as an aftermarket sales representative before co-founding Hanover Compressor Company in 1990. As Chief Operating Officer, he guided the company through dozens of acquisitions, a successful public offering, and significant global expansion. In 2004, Chet co-founded Valerus Compression Services and served as Chief Executive Officer until its sale to TPG Capital in 2009. Chet holds a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Jaime Brito serves as Chief Financial Officer of CherCo Solutions LLC, a position he has held since 2025. In this role, he oversees the company’s financial strategy, accounting, reporting, budgeting, and investor relations, supporting long-term growth and operational stability. Before joining CherCo in 2023, Jaime built more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, holding leadership roles in finance, accounting, investor relations, and operations with companies including Sirius Solutions, , Halliburton, Burlington Resources, Conoco Phillips, Mariner Energy, and Rosetta Resources Inc. Jaime holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his Master of Business Administration from Rice University, with an emphasis in Finance. With a strong technical background and extensive financial leadership experience, Jaime brings a disciplined, strategic approach to supporting CherCo’s continued success and long-term value creation.
Before joining CherCo in 2024, Joe has served in the oil and gas industry for over 40 years and has held roles of Co-Founder and SVP of International Operations for Hanover Compression, Founder and CEO of several oilfield service companies, and Board Member for several start-up oilfield service companies. Joe’s experience, domestically and internationally, in the Natural Gas Industry has covered liquid/liquid extraction, compression, gas dehydration, gas treating, bulk acid gas removal, acid gas dehydration and injection, mercury removal, hydrate inhibition, hydrocarbon dew point control, Joule-Thomson expansion, mechanical refrigeration, cryogenic liquids recovery, NGL fractionation, condensate stabilization, liquid hydrocarbon, gasoline, LPG treating and dehydration, NGL and LPG extraction from natural gas, and LNG liquefaction.
Richard joined CherCo in 2022 as one of the company’s first employees, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the compression industry. Over the course of his career, he has held positions ranging from Field Mechanic to Vice President of Operations and Senior Account Manager, building a deep, hands-on understanding of both field operations and customer solutions. His industry experience includes leadership and sales roles with J-W Operating, "compression services company", Valerus Field Services, Axip Energy Services, and Arkos Field Services. Richard is also a United States Army veteran, bringing discipline, leadership, and a mission-focused mindset to his role at CherCo.
With more than four decades of experience in the energy industry, Thomas' career in natural gas compression began in Houma, Louisiana, in 1979 as a machinist refurbishing large-horsepower, slow-speed natural gas engines and compressor components. After a brief departure from the oil and gas sector, he returned as a remote paramedic, gaining critical field experience while supporting offshore drilling rigs and production platforms. He later relocated to Houston, Texas, where he served as a senior member of the Valerus International Safety Department. Today, he leads HSE, HR, and Fleet Operations at CherCo Solutions LLC, overseeing safety, compliance, workforce development, and fleet management. He brings decades of hands-on expertise and a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, employee well-being, and industry best practices.
Brig Martin serves as Vice President of Asset Management at CherCo Solutions, a role he assumed in 2025. In this position, he oversees asset strategy, fleet optimization, and lifecycle management to ensure reliability, efficiency, and operational readiness across CherCo’s compression fleet. Since joining CherCo in 2022, Brig has played a key role in strengthening operational processes and supporting Master Service Agreements (MSAs), asset deployment planning, and cross-functional coordination between sales, operations, and field teams. Brig brings a well-rounded background in operations, finance, and business development. He entered the Oil & Gas industry in 2014 after spending ten years in the construction and wholesale distribution. Brig holds a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.
